Swim Spas are not technically
swimming pools. They are extra-large and specially-designed Hot Tubs with
powerful pumps that move the water, so that you can swim in place. The
shells and covers are insulated, maintaining whatever water temperature you
choose, being heated with powerful gas or electric heating units. Some Swim
Spas come with both a swim area and a tub area.
